The Crop command allows you to extract a rectangular area from a larger picture, trimming away the unwanted portions. Use any of the Selection Tools to surround the area you wish to retain, then select the Crop command and the portion of the picture outside the selected area will be discarded.


You can also use the special Crop Tool to precisely trim a picture.
