A cursor is a small picture or symbol displayed on a computer monitor that represents the position of the mouse pointer. The cursor usually appears as an arrow, but can vary depending on the task you are performing and what software or operating system you are using. Cursors are stored in a special image file format called "CUR".


To create a cursor, select New from the File menu and choose Windows Cursor as your picture type.
