Use the Show Grid command to show or hide a visible grid on top of the current picture. When the grid is visible a series of horizontal and vertical lines corresponding to the current Grid Settings. will appear on top of your picture. These lines are not actually part of the picture, but harmlessly floating on top. When using most drawing tools, this grid can aid you in drawing precise lines, rectangles, etc.
